Worship Devotional - "Worship Is Always Now"

Apr 08, 2026

Key Scripture: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1

Reflection

Worship should be personal and in the present tense. It's the great "I Am" that receives worship now. If God were an object, our worship would simply be based on knowledge about it. However, He is not an object but a Person who receives personal, present-tense worship.

Just as faith is in the present tense, so is worship. The hour or season of worship that Jesus refers to is this time, this hour, this moment. It is a continuous, present-tense act of adoration. There has never been such a time for the church to blossom forth in worship. It will be emphasized and practiced until the end of this age.

The Holy Spirit is emphasizing this truth across all nations and denominations. There is a genuine hunger for true worship. The devil has tried so hard to distort the truth of worship and relegate its importance, but God has graciously opened our eyes to see its importance and give it the priority it deserves.

The time for worship is not yesterday or tomorrow—it is now. Your access to the Father's heart is available right now, in this present moment. Don't postpone worship for a more convenient time; the hour is now.

Today's Challenge

Practice present-tense worship throughout your day. Instead of planning to worship later, worship now—in this moment, wherever you are. Make "now" your worship word for today.

Prayer

Lord, I worship You now—not later, not when conditions are perfect, but right now in this present moment. You are the great I Am, and I bring You present-tense adoration. The hour has come, and I am worshiping. Amen.

Breakthrough Praise -Todah
Key Scripture “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.” — Psalm 50:23 Reflection The Hebrew word “Todah” describes thanksgiving offered before the answer appears. It is praise rooted in faith rather than visible evidence. Anyone can thank God after breakthrough arrives. But mature worshipers learn to thank Him while still waiting. Todah praise declares confidence in God’s faithfulness even when ...
