Worship Devotional - "The Revelation of Eternal Worship"

Oct 03, 2025

Key Scripture: "And they sang a new song, saying: 'You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood.'" - Revelation 5:9

Reflection The book of Revelation is filled with worship - it's considered by many to be God's doxology of praise and represents the future of the church. Every vision John received was saturated with singing, musical instruments, and celebrations of God's victory. This should inspire you to thanksgiving, praise, and worship because it reveals where you're headed.

Throughout Revelation, we see voices like trumpets, harps accompanying songs, angels with trumpets, harpists singing songs of deliverance, and musicians of every kind. The New Testament gave us a tremendous surge of musical references because of Jesus singing in our midst and the ministry of the Holy Spirit making us a singing, musical church.
