Worship Devotional - "The Presence of God"

Jul 10, 2025

Key Scripture: "And he appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the Lord God of Israel." - 1 Chronicles 16:4

Reflection

When King David returned the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, bringing God's presence back to the people, he did it with thanksgiving. This establishes a powerful principle: God's presence is always accompanied by thanksgiving. Where there is salvation (God's presence), there should be thanksgiving.

As saved people, we carry God's presence in our lives continually through His Spirit dwelling within us. This means we should evidence His presence with continual thanksgiving. Our gratitude becomes proof to the world that we carry something supernatural within us.
