Worship Devotional - "The Emerging Worshiping Church"

Dec 22, 2025

Key Scripture: "Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence." - Psalm 140:13

Reflection

This is a picture of the overcoming, triumphant believer and of the glorious end-time Church. It is an exciting time for the Church as she calls out to God for nothing more or less than to experience Him. Worship is the spiritual atmosphere we need to exist; without it we are out of breath and gasping for spiritual sustenance.

The Church of today is hungry for His continual presence. Many are tired of programs, events, conferences, worship, teaching, and preaching that are devoid of Him. The desperate hunger for God Himself to be powerfully present is growing, and nothing less will satisfy.

Continuous revival should be the experience of every true worshiper because of his or her continual intimacy with God and obedience to Him. God's plan is for nothing less. The onus is on each individual to determine the level of personal revival he or she wants and take the necessary steps to gain it, sustain it, and grow it.

It's all about intimacy and obedience, and there is no limit. The worshiping Church is emerging—and you are part of it.

Today's Challenge

Commit to being part of the emerging worshiping Church. Determine today what level of personal revival you want and identify one practical step to pursue it through deeper intimacy and greater obedience.

Prayer

Lord, I want to be part of the emerging worshiping Church. I refuse to settle for religion without Your presence. Create in me a hunger that only You can satisfy. Help me pursue intimacy and obedience without limits. Let continuous revival be my experience as I dwell in Your presence. Amen.

Worship that Ministers to the Lord -Zamar
Key Scripture “Sing praises to the Lord with the harp.” — Psalm 98:5 Reflection The Hebrew word “Zamar” refers to making music unto the Lord with instruments and singing. It carries the idea of worship that is skillful, intentional, and focused on ministering to God. Music has always carried spiritual significance throughout Scripture. David understood the power of worship music deeply. When...
Breakthrough Praise -Todah
Key Scripture “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.” — Psalm 50:23 Reflection The Hebrew word “Todah” describes thanksgiving offered before the answer appears. It is praise rooted in faith rather than visible evidence. Anyone can thank God after breakthrough arrives. But mature worshipers learn to thank Him while still waiting. Todah praise declares confidence in God’s faithfulness even when ...
