Worship Devotional - "Remembrance in Prayer"

Dec 04, 2025

Key Scripture: "And if you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies." - Numbers 10:9

Reflection When you remind God of His Word, He rescues you with His power. Throughout Scripture, many prayers invoke God to act in response to remembrance. Moses reminded God of His covenant with Abraham. Samson, Hezekiah, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, and Habakkuk all prayed that God would remember and respond to their situations based on His promises.

This isn't about God having a faulty memory - it's about you standing on His promises in faith. When you remind God of what He's said, you're essentially saying, "Lord, You spoke this promise. I believe it. I'm holding You to Your Word because I know You're faithful." This kind of prayer delights God's heart because it demonstrates faith.

Breakthrough Praise -Todah
Key Scripture “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.” — Psalm 50:23 Reflection The Hebrew word “Todah” describes thanksgiving offered before the answer appears.
