Worship Devotional - "More and More Thankful"

Jul 07, 2025

Key Scripture: "For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will... increasing in the knowledge of God." - Colossians 1:9-10

Reflection

The longer we walk with God, the more thankful we should become. This isn't about forcing gratitude, but about the natural result of increasing in our knowledge of His Word and experiencing the power of His love. Keep growing in God and you will keep thanking Him. The more we get to know Him, the more thankful we become.

Increasing gratitude is actually a sign of spiritual growth, because it cannot happen without spending time in His presence. It's impossible to spend genuine time with God and not be thankful. A thankful heart develops naturally when we're consistently in relationship with Him.

Breakthrough Praise -Todah
Key Scripture “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.” — Psalm 50:23 Reflection The Hebrew word “Todah” describes thanksgiving offered before the answer appears. It is praise rooted in faith rather than visible evidence. Anyone can thank God after breakthrough arrives. But mature worshipers learn to thank Him while still waiting.
