Worship Devotional - "How Close Can You Get?"

Jun 25, 2025

Key Scripture: "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." - James 4:8

Reflection

Although God lives in everyone who has received Jesus as Lord and Savior, His presence isn't experienced the same by everyone. To some Christians, He might seem very far away, but to others very close. Ever wondered how close you can get to God? You are the one who decides.

If you keep God at a distance, He will stay there. But if you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you. The extent to which He reveals Himself to you depends on how much you seek Him. This means every person's experience differs based on how close they've drawn to God.
