Worship Devotional - "Geography Submits to Worship"

Dec 19, 2025

Key Scripture: "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father." - John 4:21

Reflection

Jesus told the Samaritan woman that worship was not subject to geography, but that geography was subject to worship. This means that ruling spiritual forces in geographical areas are subject to the worship of that area.

If the devil is worshiped, demonic powers remain, but if God is worshiped, they are removed. Worship changes things in the spirit realm that significantly affect things in the natural realm for both individuals and churches.

The victory over the enemy is decisively the Lord's, but the devil will continue throughout the Church age to lure God's people away from worship and strengthen his position of authority and influence over them.

The worshiping Church is emerging and removing ungodly thrones and establishing godly ones in geographic areas where local churches and home groups meet to worship. When we gather to worship, we are not just having a nice meeting—we are shifting the spiritual atmosphere over our region.

Today's Challenge

Pray and worship over your neighborhood, city, or region today. As you worship, declare God's lordship over your geographical area and ask Him to remove any ungodly spiritual influence.

Prayer

Father, I declare that geography is subject to worship. As I worship You today, I ask that Your throne be established in my home, my neighborhood, and my city. Remove every ungodly influence and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this place. Amen.

Worship that Ministers to the Lord -Zamar

It carries the idea of worship that is skillful, intentional, and focused on ministering to God. Music has always carried spiritual significance throughout Scripture. David understood the power of worship music deeply. When...
Breakthrough Praise -Todah
Key Scripture “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.” — Psalm 50:23 Reflection The Hebrew word “Todah” describes thanksgiving offered before the answer appears. It is praise rooted in faith rather than visible evidence. Anyone can thank God after breakthrough arrives. But mature worshipers learn to thank Him while still waiting. Todah praise declares confidence in God’s faithfulness even when ...
