Worship Devotional - "Don't Forget the Benefits"

Nov 24, 2025

Key Scripture: "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." - Psalm 103:2

Reflection Nothing works without knowledge, and God says you'll perish if you lack it. It should therefore be every believer's priority to seek God's Word like it's the most valuable commodity, because in it lie the benefits He has for you. Wisdom - applied knowledge - is more precious than rubies, offering length of days, riches, honor, pleasantness, peace, and life itself.

These fantastic benefits are accessible by faith, but faith comes by hearing God's Word. Your mind must be renewed by hearing over and over again because the devil will do everything he can to steal the Word as soon as you've heard it. God emphasizes in Proverbs that you should not forget His Word and outlines the benefits when you remember.

The biblical way to remember is to meditate - literally mutter His Word to yourself over and over. This guarantees success. Every person determines their success in life by continually speaking God's Word over their lives, not as a religious formula but with revelation of the power it brings.

Every day has been created for you to receive God's benefits streaming from the throne room: "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation." The Message translation says, "Blessed be the Lord, day after day He carries us." God has benefits waiting for you every single day, but you must remember to receive them with thanksgiving.

Today's Challenge List at least five benefits mentioned in Psalm 103 that belong to you as God's child. Thank Him specifically for each one and declare them over your life throughout the day.

Prayer Lord, I choose to remember and not forget all Your benefits. Thank You for daily loading me with blessings. Help me to receive by faith everything You've provided for me. Amen.

Breakthrough Praise -Todah
Key Scripture “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.” — Psalm 50:23 Reflection The Hebrew word “Todah” describes thanksgiving offered before the answer appears. It is praise rooted in faith rather than visible evidence. Anyone can thank God after breakthrough arrives. But mature worshipers learn to thank Him while still waiting.
