Living Sacrifice

Jul 26, 2026

Scripture
Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Thought
Worship is not confined to church gatherings or moments of prayer. According to Paul, worship also involves the surrender of daily living. Your body expresses gratitude through action. When you serve others, worship wholeheartedly, show up faithfully in fellowship, fast, rest wisely, or extend kindness, your life becomes an offering to God.

A “living sacrifice” means continual surrender, not occasional devotion. This kind of worship is practical and visible. People should be able to see God reflected not merely through our words, but through the way we live. True gratitude always produces outward expression.

Reflection
How can your everyday routines become acts of worship rather than mere obligations?

Prayer
Father, let my life become a living sacrifice before You. May my actions, habits, and daily choices reflect honour, gratitude, and worship. Amen.
