Reflection

While as born-again believers we have God's abiding presence in our lives, the realization of this fact varies with each individual. To some, God is an intimate, loving Father, but to others He seems far away.

God is not a respecter of persons, but He is a respecter of seekers. He is drawn to those who seek Him. If we put God at a distance, He will stay there, but if we embrace Him, He will run to us, as did the father of the prodigal son. God's desire is for intimacy.
