Worship Devotional - "Presenting Your Case to the Judge"

Nov 07, 2025

Key Scripture: "Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted." - Isaiah 43:26

Reflection You are commanded to remind God about the promises He's made to you. God obviously never forgets, but He likes to be reminded so you don't forget. In Isaiah 43:26, God writes in legal terms that must be interpreted as such to get the full impact: "Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted."

This is God inviting you to come before Him as you would come before a judge in a court of law and present your case based on His Word. Just as lawyers bring evidence before judges and cite previous rulings in similar cases, you're to bring God's own promises as evidence for why He should rule in your favor.

As much as God is true and genuine in all His ways,...

It's the great "I Am" that receives worship now. If God were an object, our worship would simply be based on knowledge about it. However, He is not an object but a Person who receives personal, present-tense worship. J...
Worship Devotional - "You Cannot Worship in Ignorance"
Key Scripture: "You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews." - John 4:22 Ā  Reflection Jesus made an amazing statement to the Samaritan woman. He told her that although she was a worshiper of God, she did not know the God she worshiped. This proves that it is possible to worship in ignorance. In fact, many people actually do, and their worship benefit...
