Worship Devotional - "God Inhabits Prayer and Praise"

Oct 15, 2025

Key Scripture: "But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake." - Acts 16:25-26

Reflection God will cause the things that hold you captive to be removed and destroyed when you pray and praise Him. There's a prophetic lesson in Paul and Silas's midnight deliverance for the church in these last days. You're going to see prisoners both within and outside the church become free through prayer and praise.

Within the church, many born-again believers are imprisoned with sickness, lack, and fears. They too will be set free from their imprisonment through prayer and praise. They'll have this opportunity when they hear true worshipers sing and pray. The prisoners were listening intently to Paul and Silas - one translation says they were listening with pleasure.

Worship Devotional - "The River of His Presence"
Key Scripture: "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.' But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive." - John 7:38-39   Reflection When we compare our New Testament worship with that of the Old Testament, the obvious difference is the presence of Jesus and the Holy Spirit who were not available t...
