Worship Devotional - "Transformed by Praise"

Key Scripture: "All of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another." - 2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMP)

Reflection

God's dream for each one of us is to become more like His Son Jesus. He's like a doting father who continually wants to shape, transform, and mature us, and praise is one of the primary ways He achieves this. Praise brings us face to face with God, expressing our love for what He has done, is doing, and will do according to His Word.

The purpose of praise is to change you. When you consistently praise God based on His Word, you're constantly being transformed into Christ's image. This happens because praise creates the perfect environment for God's transforming presence to work in your life.
