Worship Devotional - "The Triune Symphony of Worship"

Sep 26, 2025

Key Scripture: "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14

Reflection God has designed worship as a perfect symphony involving all three persons of the Trinity: the Father is the audience, the Son is the song, and the Holy Spirit is the conductor, while you are the instrument. Since they are Three in One and One in Three, the Triune Godhead not only helps you worship but receives it as well.

This is a plan only God could conceive - He gives and gets at the same time. He cannot be out-given at any time, even in worship. The Holy Spirit empowers your worship, Jesus is the subject and leader of your worship, and the Father receives and delights in your worship. You're participating in the eternal relationship of the Trinity.

The word "cheerful" here means euphoric, ecstatic pleasure, a feeling that makes you want to explode with unrestrained joy. This joy needs expression, and God's chosen method is song. James is telling us to be so ...
Worship Devotional - "Worship Based on the Word"
Key Scripture: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." - Colossians 3:16   Reflection Paul connects two vital elements: being filled with God's Word and being filled with song. When Christ's Word dwells in you richly - abundantly, lavishly, overflowing...
