Worship Devotional - "Seven Biblical Proofs"

Jul 08, 2025

Key Scripture: "Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments." - Psalm 119:164

Reflection

Scripture provides overwhelming evidence that God's Word is the catalyst for praise. The psalmist didn't praise seven times a day by accident - he was reading or meditating on God's Word seven times daily, and that caused him to give praise. He had developed a lifestyle of praise rooted in Scripture.

Consider these biblical connections: God's Word guides us to worship (Psalm 43:3-4). The psalmist specifically praises God FOR His Word (Psalm 56:4, 10). Praise comes when we learn God's Word (Psalm 119:7). Joy flows from knowing God's testimonies (Psalm 119:14). God's statutes became the psalmist's songs (Psalm 119:54).
