Worship Devotional - "Revival Through Rediscovered Truth"

Aug 28, 2025

Key Scripture: "Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the LORD with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did any arise like him." - 2 Kings 23:25

Reflection One of the greatest recorded revivals in the Bible happened when King Josiah rediscovered covenant truth. When the high priest found the hidden book of the law and read it to the king, Josiah was devastated to realize how far their worship had fallen below God's standard. But instead of despair, this discovery sparked dramatic reformation.

Josiah removed the high places of idolatrous worship, destroyed false altars, and ushered in a restoration that brought the nation back to covenant worship. The key wasn't just discovering truth - it was responding to that truth with complete commitment to God's standards.

The time for worship is now. The Father is seeking your worship right now in the present continuous tense—not just on Sundays or when you meet with other believers. Corporate worship should be an overflow of the perso...
Worship Devotional - "Worship Is Worthship"
Key Scripture: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!" - Revelation 5:12   Reflection A derivative of the word worship is "worthship"—an acknowledgement of worth or value. Worship is essentially the response we have to the value or appraisal we attribute to God. The degree to which we value God will be reflected i...
