Worship Devotional - "Remember Today for Tomorrow's Blessings"

Oct 31, 2025

Key Scripture: "He appointed Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord and to celebrate [by calling to mind], thanking and praising the Lord, the God of Israel." - 1 Chronicles 16:4 (Amplified)

Reflection Thanksgiving isn't just polite gratitude - it's the major key to future blessings. There's enough evidence in God's Word to indicate that God waits for you to give Him thanks for what He's already done before releasing future blessings. The key is to keep thanking Him for every good thing that happens in your life, no matter how small.

God wants you to remember today what He did for you yesterday so that you praise your way into your tomorrow. This isn't manipulation; it's the spiritual law of remembrance and thanksgiving. When King David returned the Ark to Jerusalem, he appointed Levites with a threefold ministry: giving thanks, praising, and recording (remembering/writing). Their praise was based on bringing to remembrance the mighty acts God had done previously.

Worship Devotional - "Setting the Lord Before Me"
Key Scripture: "I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved." - Psalm 16:8   Reflection David did not want God to leave him at any time. He knew he needed to take action on a repeated basis—a lifestyle—to make this happen. He set the Lord before him, meaning that he would not allow God to be out of his thoughts or actions. Worship is the inclusion o...
Worship Devotional - "Worship Is Intimacy"
Key Scripture: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1   Reflection Just as faith is in the present tense, so is worship. The time for worship is now. The Father is seeking your worship right now in the present continuous tense—not just on Sundays or when you meet with other believers. Corporate worship should be an overflow of the perso...
