Worship Devotional - "Prayer and Worship: Inseparable Partners"

Oct 20, 2025

Key Scripture: "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life." - 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Reflection Prayer and praise are inseparable partners. Although there are different kinds of prayer - prayer to receive blessing, prayer of faith, supplications to avert evil, or intercession offered on behalf of others - the principle is the same: prayer should always be accompanied with thanksgiving and praise.

When you separate prayer from praise, you remove the faith element that causes prayers to be answered. When you separate praise from prayer, you remove the substance that gives praise direction and purpose. Together, they create a powerful force that releases heaven's power on earth.

Worship is the inclusion o...
Worship Devotional - "Worship Is Intimacy"
Key Scripture: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1   Reflection Just as faith is in the present tense, so is worship. The time for worship is now. The Father is seeking your worship right now in the present continuous tense—not just on Sundays or when you meet with other believers. Corporate worship should be an overflow of the perso...
