Worship Devotional - "Lifestyle of Thanksgiving"

Jul 28, 2025

Key Scripture: "You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." - 1 Peter 2:5

Reflection

As we grow in God's presence, we should become more grateful because we're growing in knowledge of who God is and what He has done for us. If we don't grow in gratitude, it's symptomatic that we're probably not growing spiritually at all. Increasing thankfulness is a sign of spiritual health and maturity.

As priests today, we must offer up our lives as spiritual sacrifices of thanksgiving - not just during church services, but as a continuous lifestyle. This means thanksgiving becomes woven into the fabric of how we live, work, relate to others, and approach every aspect of our daily experience.

This is the "death" part of being a living sacrifice - dying to our emo...
Worship Devotional - "Your Spiritual DNA"
Key Scripture: "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love." - Colossians 1:13   Reflection You are a breakthrough believer! The moment you confessed Jesus as Lord, you broke away from the kingdom of darkness into God's glorious kingdom. This wasn't just a spiritual transaction - it was a complete transfer of citizenship, allegiance, a...
